ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The National Medical Commission (previously MCI) sets MBBS eligibility norms for Indian students pursuing medical education in Russia. These guidelines, finalized in MCI’s 7th session on March 29, 2017, define admission rules for studying medicine abroad.

• Students must clear 10+2 or equivalent with core subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English.
• General category students must achieve 50% in PCB subjects, while reserved category students require a minimum of 40%.
• Applicants should complete 17 years of age by December 31 of the admission year to be eligible.
• NEET qualification is required with a valid score: 50th percentile (UR) and 40th percentile (reserved categories).
